I believe that understanding the importance of technology in strategic planning is essential. Technology is not just a tool to be used, or a cost that must be absorbed, but an integral part of our strategic vision. It's not enough to simply adopt the latest tech trends. We must think strategically about how technology can help us achieve our business goals and objectives.

The role of management in this process is of the utmost importance and should not be passed off to subordinates or consultants. As leaders, we must set the tone and direction for our companies' tech journey. No longer should you use the excuse that “technology is not my thing” or “I can’t get my head around these modern techniques”.
Take the time to educate yourself! This means staying informed about the latest tech developments, talking to other business leaders about what they are doing, and evaluating the potential impact on our business. We should be open to change and willing to take calculated risks while making informed decisions about which technologies to invest in.
Managers also need to walk their talk and lead by example. They should actively use and promote the adoption of new technologies, create programs and opportunities for employees to develop new tech skills, and provide a safe space for experimentation without fear of failure.

We must also maintain open communication channels for discussing technology-related challenges and ideas. And above all, celebrate and reward innovative thinking and successful tech-driven initiatives.
To sum it all up, building a tech-savvy culture requires integrating technology into our strategic planning and promoting a culture of innovation. As managers, we have a key role to play in this process. By leading by example and providing the necessary support and resources, we can help our employees and our business succeed in this digital age.
